Practice Based Design Research Education

RISE Interactive's (formerly called Interactive Institute) Design Research Unit has been actively developing collaborations with postgraduate educational programs in design and the applied arts. These collaborations currently take the form of: curriculum and course development, lecturing and advising students, and funded research projects with industrial partners.

Our current collaborations in this area are with KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Delft University of Technology (NL), the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology (US), Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Umeå Institute of Design, Chalmers University, Göteborg University, the Swedish School of Textiles at the University College of Borås, and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture, Design and Conservation (DK).
