Organism is one of the pioneering results within interaction design from RISE Interactive (formerly called Interactive Institute). At the world fair EXPO 2000 in Hannover, the visitors ranked Organsim to 1 of the top 10 attractions.

Organism is a piece of art inviting people to explore musical co-creation and social interaction. People are attracted to participate, play, collaborate and enjoy in a very easy and spontaneous manner.

By touching the wooden sculpture in various spots music start playing. Several hands enable combination of music and rhythms that encourages people to collective composition. Also the tactile sensual character of smooth pinewood adds a positive dimension for exploring the interactive object, far from ordinary music mixing technology.
