Participation in the Design Inquiries conference

The Design Inquiries conference was held at Konstfack, Stockholm May 27-29, and several researchers and students from Interactive Institute was presenting papers and chairing sessions.

We presented the following papers: 'Domestication
as Design Intervention' by Sara Routarinne and Johan Redström, 'Materializing gender' by Karin Ehrnberger and 'Fear and Design; How can design impact on fear? How can design raise questions about fear?' by Jenny Bergström.

Johan Redström and Ramia Mazé were chairing the sessions 'Framing Knowledge - Design Theories' and 'Fear & Empathy - Form & Aestethics'.

The conference was organized by NORDES (www.nordes.org), an open network that started with the first Nordic Design Research Conference, In the Making, in Copenhagen 2005.
