New Europe has published an article about our 3D digitization project together with Medelhavsmuseet. Read the article here: Egyptian mummy in Sweden no longer under wraps

"Here’s what happens when 21st century technology meets Ancient Egyptian mummification. State of the art computerised tomography (CT) scanning is being used at the Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm’s Mediterranean Museum, to digitally unwrap the mummy of an Ancient Egyptian priest.

For years, hospitals have been commissioned by museums to conduct CT scanning of mummies in order for researchers to see what is inside. Stockholm’s museum has taken this to a whole new level. The museum teamed up with a group of researchers at the Swedish Interactive Institute in order to digitally scan eight human mummies."
