Keynote Speakers for Audio Mostly 2008

We welcome Stephen Brewster and Nick Laviers as keynote speakers for the conference Audio Mostly 2008.

Stephen Brewster is a Professor of Human-Computer Interaction in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow, UK. His main research interest is in Multimodal Human-Computer Interaction, sound and haptics and gestures and he has done a lot of research into Earcons.

Nick Laviers has worked on some 30+ triple-A games titles including The Harry Potter and F1 series for Electronic Arts, mostly in the role of Audio Director. He covers all aspects of games sound, from music to SFX and audio icons. He is currently based at EA’s offices in LA.

Audio Mostly 2008 – a Conference on Interaction with Sound, will take place in Piteå in October 22-23, 2008.
