An article by Ramia Mazé and Johan Redström is featured in the first ever Research Design Journal! The journal has just been launched by the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation (SVID) as its first scientific journal on design. Each issue of the journal will be comprised of two kinds of content – articles by Swedish and international researchers (subject to anonymous peer review) and a section with interviews, reports, conference reports, and reviews of design-related literature. The overall goal is to contribute to general awareness and development in the area of design research.

The article 'Difficult Forms: Critical Practices of Design and Research', by Ramia Mazé and Johan Redström from the Interactive Institute's Design Research Unit, describes some of the conceptual and methodological foundations for recent design research programs in the area of smart textiles and sustainable design.
