We are responsible for NODEM the annual Nordic forum and award for digital museum installations and interactives.

From Visions for Museums to
Swedish Forum for Cultural Heritage

Due to the growing activity at Visions for Museums, we have now changed our name and structure; our new name is Swedish Forum for Cultural Heritage and we will be a part of the European Network of Expertise Centres established by EPOCH/EU.
Swedish Forum for Cultural Heritage will remain part of Interactive Institute, a Swedish IT-research institute which creates results through combining art, design and technology.

Swedish Forum for Cultural Heritage will contribute with the following activities: Incubator, NODEM, Museum’s Lab and Interactive Salon. Within these programmes we aim to bridge the gap and provide a more stable infrastructure to support a dialogue between professionals and researchers in the different areas of cultural heritage, ICT industry and the creative industry.

Från Visions for Museums till

Interactive Institute has moved to Kista! On February 20 we moved from Linnégatan and became neighbours with our sister institute SICS in Electrum in Kista outside of Stockholm. You are very welcome to visit us in our new office space!

We are pleased to announce that Interactive Salon will be hosted by the Intermedia Department of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in the beginning of June. The exhibition will continue to Prague and Brighton later this year

Touch of Kandinsky will be exhibited at the Universal Forum of the Cultures in Monterrey, Mexico in september 2007
