"This land is your land; this land is my land
from Jukkasjärvi; to the N.Y. island"

The name of this work is "Travelling man". It is a room furnished as a motel room in art deco style, presently accommodating a seeker, a vagabond, a musician on the road.
With the help of interactive light and sound technology, regulated by the visitor in the room, our ambition is to create a spatial landscape that both alienates, puzzles and awakens your curiosity and desire. The desire to know more - who resides in the room, is this the final destination... or if not… where is the lodger going, alone…?... We feed the visitor with visual and audible clues; offer a trip through both time and space which makes him or her the investigator of a crime scene adding together all the pieces one by one. In other words turning and twisting concepts - water, ice, hot, cold, here, far away, night, day, right now, long time ago… Similar to Perry Mason the visitor with the help of artefacts scattered all around, and with audible and visual impulses will be able to start building the puzzle. Whose rambling, restless soul is frozen within the boundaries of this room? The room is vibrating with the heat and desire of Tennessee Williams, Kerouac's rootless drifting and, not to forget, Woody Guthrie and his disciples persistently seeking justice and searching for "The promised land".
