SHARE, the studio for learning and knowledge sharing, investigates how knowledge develops in a societal context. Researching how digital prototypes empowers communities, organisations, companies and authorities with enhanced reflecting and knowledge-developing processes, in an interplay between formal and informal contexts. One important aspect being artifacts as physical representations supporting knowledge.

"Men that fall" (online-version) is an example of movies with responsive behaviours. In this particular case, you will learn to know that strane things may occur when you come a little bit too close to men in the peak of their careers. "Men that fall" was in its original form a large video installation at the shopping mall of Bergvik, Karlstad during the period of frenzy and X-mas shopping, December 2004.

A contender on the arena of click-and-you-might-learn applications is Talkball. A gadget still to be developed with usb-link and PC-interface. The user who craves for learning German or perhaps to distinguish between different sounds of birds will be able to play around with a bouncy ball that releases a inquiring sound for each hit. Learning can be social as well, bouncing the ball between each other facilitates challenges of botw knowledge and physical coordination.

Another prototype is Digital value clarifications, a.k.a Sticks. The sticks investigate how to start discussions and reflections on various phenomena in learning with simple Net applications. Based on an assertion or a question, the subject answers "Yes", "No", or "Maybe". When the subject has justified his/her opinion, he/she can hear others' justifications, change his/her own position, and then decide what he/she really thinks about the issue. As feedback one receives more information about the phenomenon, as well as links and tips that can enrich one's knowledge about it.
