Tina Finnäs has been working with sounds and lights controlled by the visitor’s movements. The meeting between technology (machine) and man is evident as we are moved into the limelight. By walking in the installation we switch on spotlights and the tunes of Sinatra’s bravura piece, New York, New York. Every time we turn on a spotlight we get a piece of the song. To play the full song you have to take a slow dignified stroll.

Platform was developed as part of the Man Machine project.
