ByBoo

The ByBoo project builds upon a survey on bullying through digital channels: "Pass shit forward" (in Swedish), performed during summer/fall 2006 by Studio [12-21] in collaboration with Reaktor Sydost, with funding from The Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brottsförebyggande rådet, Brå). The survey aims at including all aspects of the bullying phenonemon, and clarifies some problems in the field of this research area.

Departing from the conclusion in the survey, the project enters a new phase during 2007. Working with school children, teachers and parents, the aim is to support knowledge and understanding about digital tools with a focus on feeling safe with ones class network. The work takes place in many different social spaces, both offline in the class room and online in our ByBoo-land.
