BeAware

The European Commission’s Energy Security Unit at the Institute for Energy and Transport has invited Carin Torstensson to speak at a three day workshop in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 5-7 October 2011. The workshop is called Enlarging and Integrating Energy Security. Carin will present a case study from the EU financed project BeAware at the session called Consumer engagement.

We will welcome two new colleagues to the Energy Design studio. Ingemar Karlsson will be working with our project ARENA and Kristoffer Sjökvist will work with us in the BeAware project.

The Interactive Institute, Energy Design, has been invited to participate in a reference group for smart grids, arranged by the Energy Markets Inspectorate. Their government assignment includes investigating how to facilitate for the use of smart meters and smart grids. The first meeting with the reference group will be held in Stockholm, June 30.
