DISSEMINATION
Continual dissemination of ideas, findings, and emerging research
issues have been an essential part of our design approach. At various points,
applications and prototypes have been exhibited and documented for sponsors,
for academic and research communities, and for the general public. Workshops
with project partners, with potential end users, and in other research institutes
has been a valuable means of gathering feedback and deepening understanding
of the issues. By involving Smart-Its concepts and technology in educational
curriculums, we have been able to expand the range of application ideas
for such ubiquitous computing platforms and drawn on Smart-Its as a platform
for rapid prototyping in design processes. |
