From Idea to Exhibition

The concept and making of the Reykjavik 871 +-2 Exhibition will be presented, from the beginning idea, to the design and execution. The idea and work process of the making of multimedia material and how it is used in the narrative of the Exhibition will be covered especially.
Project manager and the designer of the Exhibition will lead the Workshop.

Working with Limited resources

This workshop will address the problem/subject of low-budget in production of digital media in exhibitions. What is (or can we defined as) a low-budget or micro budget digital media production? How can we best utilize our limited budget? How to make a budget and keep the project within the budget – is it possible? Examples, pitfalls and useful tips.

Social Media and Museums and Cultural Heritage               

This workshop will present several Nordic projects that involves or is based on social media for inhouse communication – or for building new relations of communication and learning with the public. The workshop will address:

 

    • The range of web-based social media used in specific Nordic  projects from Denmark and Norway.
    • The issues that by experience will arise in projects that involves social media
    • How to anticipate/address such issues.
