The NODEM Award for the best digital design for museums communication will be presented at a ceremony at the end of the conference.

The aim of the award is to stimulate creativity and professional development among Nordic museums by encouraging innovative use of digital information and communication technology in interpreting and communicating cultural, art-based and scientific content for the benefit of the public.

All exhibited projects at NODEM 08 serve as candidates for the NODEM award. Candidates can enter with more than one production. NODEM welcomes proposals from all museums, galleries, centres, sites, organizations, research institutions or companies that have initiated or taken part in developing a digital production or solution that meet the above criteria.
