Summary
In the design of a new exhibition at the National Museum of Iceland, interactive media was included as a form for interpretation. The aim for Gagarin was to communicate, in an interesting and compelling way, information of Iceland's cultural heritage from the time of its pioneering settlement to the present day. The individual presentations (15) are presented on touch-screen around the recently renovated Museum. Each exhibit covers one theme with several topics: Origin of Icelanders, Medieval writings and State formation, etc.

Comments
A great number of 2D characters have been drawn up. Several artifacts have been created in 3D to demonstrate its purpose and context. Great emphasis have been put on creating an easy to use and interesting interface.
