December 15th, former visiting researcher Anna Vallgårda successfully defended her PhD Thesis entitled “Computational Composites: Understanding the Materiality of Computational Technology” at the IT University in Copenhagen. Anna visited the Design Research Unit in 2008 and her thesis includes work done in the Switch! and Smart Textiles projects. Interactive Institute's Johan Redström was her co-advisor.
