More than 300 people visited the opening of Visual Voltage at Design Vlaanderen Galerie in Brussels.
Visual Voltage opening night brought more then 300 people together, confronted with design prototypes and art installations visualising energy use. Amongst other TV channels France 3 will broadcast the exhibition and the making of on October 9th. A scientific reporter of De Standaard, Belgium’s national newspaper, will bring a reportage after visiting Sweden to learn about the multidisciplinary production and research context when it comes to sustainable solutions in a broader context. The exhibition has also been featured in the Swedish news program SVT-rapport.
Artist and project leader from Interactive Institute, Tina Finnäs:
“To be in Brussels and be part of Design September that brings together design groups from all over the world and at the same time be part of the Sweden week is a challenging and interesting opporturnity. Climate, environment and energy are some of the important priorities of the Swedish EU presidency. The Visual Voltage exhibition presents a number of innovative sustainable solutions that contribute, inspire and increase awareness”.
