The world touring exhibition Visual Voltage has reached Brussels and Design Vlaanderen.

The exhibition Visual Voltage is now on its third stop and will be exhibited at Design Vlandeeren in Brussels, September 10 - October 25 2009. The previous stops have been Creation Expo and Citiq Square in Shanghai, October-November 2008 and House of Sweden in Washington DC, April-June 2009.

The exhibition in Brussels will be accompanied by several peripheral events:
- Workshop ATTITUDE, DESIGN & ACTION - From Energy Efficient Pilot Projects to Socio-Economic and Political Action. In association with VUB Crosstalks, on 11 September at 8.30 a.m. in De Markten, Brussels.
- Pecha Kucha on 19 September 2009 at 8.20 p.m. in Recyclart (Brussels): the Interactive Institute will be participating.
- Tours of the exhibition on 19 and 20 September 2009 at 2 pm by Magnus Jonsson of the Interactive Institute.
- Lunch tours of the exhibition on 21 September 2009 at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. by Tine Holvoet, Communication Officer for Visual Voltage.
- Lecture by Front Design (Stockholm) on 25 September 2009 at 8 p.m. in Flagey (Brussels).
 
Visual Voltage enables visitors to explore various forms of electricity, and to experience and reflect on energy consumption. Some of Sweden’s best known artists and designers have been brought together with engineers, technical know-how and environmental consideration in this ground breaking exhibition. The exhibition features work by Steven Dixon, Nils Edvardsson, Tina Finnäs, Front Design and Tore Nilsson. You will see electricity as never seen before. The exhibition is a collaboration between the Swedish Institute and the Interactive Institute.
