Successful visit at this year´s Ars Electronica Festival in Linz

This year´s Ars Electronica Festival took place between the 4^th-9^th of September on the theme “ A New Cultural Economy”. A delegation from Stockholm had gathered in Linz to experience one of the biggest New Media Festival in the world.

The festival was opened with an Opening Event at Pöstlingberg where a numerous amount of events, performances and concerts took place.

The Stockholm Delegation was invited to a welcoming reception for international delegations with the Mayor of the north part of Austria as well as the Mayor of Linz. Ingvar Sjöberg gave a short speech on the behalf of our delegation.

Outside of the entrance to the City Hall there was an interactive map of Linz that continued all the way inside the City Hall.

During the stay the delegation visited a numerous amount of exhibitions. Here images from the Ok Offenes Kulturhaus where we also got a presentations by the artist duo Hehe that will come to the Nvision Lab in Norrköping this Autumn for an Artist in residency. The duo also won the Golden Nica with their work in the category for Hybrid Arts.
