The Castle / Slottet Tre Kronor - Opening on Wednesday, 7th May

It's 1661, late in the afternoon just after the death of the Swedish king Karl Gustav X. In the sky above the castle, dark clouds are hastily gathering. In front of the castle there are people moving around but who are they and what are they doing?
If you peek through the peephole, into the dark depths of the box, we promise to reveal everything...
Evoking Spaces, in collaboration with Performing Pictures and Stockholm city museum have created a new Lumolog. The Lumolog is an audiovisual experience for museum visitors in form of an interactive peep box that brings paintings and photographs to life using layers of video, animation and sound.
The Castle Lumolog, which conveys an exciting and novel experience of the Stockholm city museum’s 17th century painting of the old royal castle will open on 7th of may at the Stockholm city museum. The Castle Lumolog will be a permanent contribution to the museums exhibitions and placed next to the original oil painting by the Dutch painter Govert Camphuysen and a miniature model of the castle from the 1930´s.
