Oskar Juhlin

Oskar Juhlin is Director at the Mobile Life VinnExcellence Center. He is at of the Mobility Studio at the Interactive Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. He is a researcher at the Department of computer and system sciences at Stockholm University. He is Associate Professor (“Docent”) inapplied information technology at the IT-university of Göteborg. 

Oskar has worked in many fields related to the design of mobile technology and to the sociology of technology, including sociology of knowledge and sociology of traffic. His current approach draws on ethnographic fieldwork of mobile user practices to influence the design of various applications.
