Men That Fall & Women That Turn at Galerija Centrs, Riga

As part of the Contemporary Art Forum “White Night 2007” the night of August 25th, Geska Helena Andersson and Robert Brecevic from Performing Pictures open a week-long exhibition at Galerija Centrs in Riga Old Town. At display are their falling men and turning women.

The White Night offers the citizens of Riga to discover the versatility of modern culture and inspire interest of a wider society in culture events and happenings as well as to widen perception of culture; offering to enjoy culture not only in its usual but also in an unusual environment – in parks, courtyards and industrial territories.

The artists have been invited by Rix-C, an electronic art and media center in Riga. The exhibition have been realised with support from Riga City Council.
