Flurry in exhibition at Kulturhuset

The interactive work Flurry by Sachiko Hayashi is now being exhibited at the ongoing LARM Festival at Kulturhuset in Stockholm. Flurry is one of nine works being exhibited on different floors in Kulturhuset.

Flurry was created and produced in the project Man Machine at the Interactive Institute in the autumn of 2005. The theme of the work Flurry is snow.
Sachiko Hayashi has recorded peoples memories, reflections and stories about snow and also let composers compose sounds that illustrate the concept of snow. All of this is presented as sounds when the interacting viewer catches the animated snowflakes falling down on the big screen. Go and see! Where? On the ground floor K1 at Kulturhuset.

The LARM Festival is both an exhibition and a festival showing Nordic sound art created by artists, musicians, poets and others. Take part of a rich festival programme with live music, performances, video screenings, electronica, dance, DJ:s, interactive art works during three days.
The exhibition is open 30 March–22 April.
The festival takes place 13–15 April.
