Liselott Brunnberg is an interaction designer and researcher at the mobility studio, Interactive Institute, Stockholm. She holds a M.Sc. in media design and a Ph.D. in Applied Information Technology, at the IT-University of Göteborg.

Liselott’s research concerns the design of novel experiences for mobile use contexts. Her thesis work “Playing with the Highway Experience - Pervasive Games on the Road” explores the prospect of using the dynamic and vivid context of road travel to provide drama and challenge to pervasive games. The aim has been to gain insights into this novel mobile application area and to understand the potential and implications for design. The research has resulted in three prototypes, i.e. Backseat Gaming, Road Rager and Backseat Playground.

Liselott is (during 2009-2011) doing a Post doc at Tongji University, The College of Architecture and Urban Planning, in Shanghai China. The Post doc is financed by The Swedish Reseach Council.
