Cities in the developing world are growing fast. We witness the results on a daily basis: widespread poverty, inefficient infrastructure provision, social inequity and environmental damage. To make these cities function better and improve the quality of urban life, a proactive attitude from policymakers, citizens and entrepreneurs is needed.

Urban Solutions is working in cities in developing and transitional countries. It is using its expertise to assist local governments, universities, NGO’s and the private sector to respond to the changing demands of an urbanising world.

We help to increase the local capacity and encourage the public sector to be entrepreneurial and generate more revenue in order to improve local living conditions. Urban Solutions supports cities to be:
