John Smith is currently Manager: Strategic Developments and will be the local project leader. He has a background in further and higher education, teacher training, management, research, assessment and evaluation, information technology and project management. Before joining the Trust full time in 2000, he was Director of Business Development at City College Norwich, having begun his lecturing career in 1977. John has managed a major projects funded by the DFES, the European Commission, the FEFC, FEDA, the LSC, Norfolk County Council, UFI Ltd, East of England Tourist Board, Research Machines Ltd., Creative Partnerships Norfolk and the GMB union.
