The Forum Trust manages the Forum complex in the heart of Norwich, an independent and self-financing charitable organisation charged with the management of The Forum for 125 years. The Forum is the landmark Millennium building for the East of England. The Trust ensures the maintenance of the building and acts as landlord to the tenant organisations. In addition to this role, the Trust is a key player in partnership project work to deliver benefits to the people of both Norwich and the wider Norfolk community. The Trust has provided significant additions to the cultural activities of the city via an exciting and innovative Events programme. It has been at the forefront of a range of tourism initiatives, championing the need for a destination management organisation and for a stronger Christmas offer. The Trust works with education, public and private sectors to deliver a range of exciting projects which benefit communities across the county. Since its establishment in 2000, the Trust has led a large number of research and development projects in technology-related education and heritage projects and is currently engaged in the development of a major regional centre for the exhibition of digital heritage content which engages local people in creating and amending their own elements.
