Despina Kanellou joined CENTRIM in March 2000 to work on an EU Knowledge Management (KM) research project the MODEL. Since then she has been working in a range of Innovation Management and Organisational Learning Projects, (KNOWLABORATION-ProfitNet -smE-MPOWER- Learning Networks for Social Enterprises, K-Lab). Her research work, focus on inter-organisational learning techniques and specifically in advancing methodologies and tools in order to support SMEs and other organizations in their process to change and define alternative business models.
Despina currently is leading the Network of Expertise Centers in Culture and Heritage (NoECs) activity of the EU/IST NOE EPOCH project. EPOCH is a Network of Excellence, of about a hundred European culture and/or technology Research Institutes and Organisations joining their efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of the use of Information and Communication Technology for Cultural Heritage.
