CENTRIM is a research-based school at the University of Brighton currently celebrating fifteen years of research in technology and innovation management. During this time we have grown from a small unit located within a teaching faculty, to become an established centre within the University, with a staff of over twenty full- and part-time researchers and administrators, as well as a growing number of postgraduate students and KTP associates.

Here's the short-list of six things that sets CENTRIM apart from the crowd:

  • driven by academic research
  • focused on the management of innovation
  • highly committed to action research — closing the loop
  • committed to intervention and facilitation of learning in companies — especially SMEs — and increasingly, social enterprises
  • a skilled and experienced provider of research output-based products and services
  • strong within a world-class institution: the Freeman Centre.

CENTRIM is part of the Faculty of Management and Information Sciences
