Performing Pictures was part of the Interactive Institute 2005-2009. As per January 2010, Performing Pictures continues its activities as an independent unit, continuing and expanding its artistic and research oriented work with the support of Vetenskapsrådet, Allmänna Arvsfonden and EU:s People program.
In Performing Pictures we develop projects and productions that in an artistic way deal with research and development in the area of film and moving images. Exploration in and of moving images based on limitations such as time, technology and spatiality is our focus.
