demonstrator = mobile interactive media installation to
showcase the scenarios and technology

hot spot = works like hyperlink on a web page, but is part
of a physical space

interface = the point of interaction between the digital media
system and the visitor

interactive hyper media = instead of a linear story, a hyper story can take
take different turns, depending on the visitor
interactive choice

media event zone = defines an area of interaction

narrative layer = there are different kinds of media content
for each zone. All are relating to one aim,
like education, entertainment or music

digital network = standard system to link computers or devices
to each other over distance

personalized content = media is prepared for specific groups of users

augmented reality = extending the real life perception of a situation
by means of digital media


This project was produced as a study to for the culture department at Avesta council to suggest new ideas for visitors to experience the historic steel works.
This project was produced by both the SMART and EMOTIONAL studios at the Interactive Institute in Stockholm.
